backfire - to each his own. I wasn't really "aiming" for anything the first time, anyway, just a general good score. I got a 1490 on the verbal and math parts the first time, so I wanted at least 10 more points the second time, as that gets you a lot more scholarships. (So Martina, I took it twice.)

Use Sparknotes too, and if I were you I would not use Princeton at all. Using Princeton you'll only get 2100. I heard Barron's doesn't resemble the actual test. Use Sparknotes and the Official Guide for best results.

Do the SAT Question of the day and just keep praticing! I also second the use of sparknotes and the offical guide. Also you might want to try taking the online course as well. Good Luck :)

Mountain Dew: You are kind of in the same position as me:
10 PR tests
4 PR Prep tests
8 BB tests
3 CB Online Tests
3 Sparknotes tests

I hope we can both get 2300+ !

ive taken

7 PR tests
8 BB tests
7 CB online tests

:(

hopefully i can get 2400

but now its time to catch up on 200 SAT questions of the day

^^Hahaha. I did that too, just saved them all in an email named "Collegeboard" instead of doing them right then and there and now I have about 200 to read too.

anyone wanna send all those questions to me

Are you all crazy? How can you get 2400??? Its good to be confident, but dont set goals unreasonably high because you'll be disappointed. You're either overconfident or hella smart...i got a 1690 :-(

does anybody here have the vocab from the SAT online course?
it's going to take me a while to get those 7 tests done.

i need some real ETS words. :)

good luck, we need it more than anything else. if you got a good estimate of range based on CB tests, luck is important on test day to get to the higher end of the range. however, CB practice tests' scale for writing is wrong, much more lenient. the other two sections are good predictors if you take the average.

After a while, CB deletes the pages, so you might not be able to access them.

Nah bro, they're actually posted in the "SAT Question of the Day" email they send, and if you move your mouse over the answer choices, you can tell which one is the answer (the link number changes from the others) in case they do delete the pages.

*And sorry for any confusion, I meant folder named "Collegeboard" not email, in the original post.

I'm aiming for 2300+ on the March SAT (that's when just about everyone at our school takes it)

I'd really like 220+ on PSAT in two weeks though- anyone know the cutoff for National Merit Finalist for NEw York?

Things are doing well, got a 2200-ish on Practice Test #1 in Blue Book, not bad. . .
What are some good resources for Practice tests?
I have
Official Guide + Online Course
PR's 11 Tests

sparknotes 10 tests is ok

katia11, im aiming for the same thing

for the NMF for NY, take a look at this http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showpost.php?p=2993607&postcount=662
