Hey guys! My standardized test scores from the last round of testing have come out and I got a 35 composite in ACT with
Science: 33
Math: 36
English: 36 and Essay: 9
Reading: 36
I got a 2350 on my SAT with
Math: 780
Reading: 790
Writing: 780
Essay: 9
I think its also important to take into consideration that this is my 2nd ACT and my 3rd SAT. Which do you guys think I should submit to colleges? I’m planning on applying competitive top 10 schools. If I submit my SAT, I would also have to submit SAT Subject Tests. I’m planning on taking Physics and Math 2 in June and I’m fairly confident that I can do well. However, my other subject test scores that I won’t be sending but colleges may see are not that strong (World History 670, First Attempt Math 2 680). Thank you for your help!
Both are great scores, you can send the SAT or ACT. Something is sure, You won’t be rejected by your score. If you apply to holistic admission schools, then they won’t only see your scores since each thing of the app counts like GPA, EC’s, letter of recommendation, essay and other things.
They’re both so good thatI would send both
Send both, but the 2350 is stronger IMO
Wow! That’s amazing! I’d say send both
If you are applying to schools like MIT or Caltech, a 36 in Math looks bettter than a 780, but both scores are amazing. Congrats!!!
@Argentina2017 I guess you’re right but my college counselor said that a 33 in Science might look bad, especially because I’m applying as a Biology major. She suggests that I ONLY submit my SAT, but what do you guys think?
I would just submit the SAT, then. Why waste money in more official reports?
