This is hilarious post… really it is. ■■■■■.

okay so first thing: i’m not making my score up. I worked my ass off for this. And I cans how you a picture.
Regardless of that, I need help!
second thing: you CAN score 790 in math for -1. I scored 760 for -1 in my June SAT. It all depends on the percentile curve.
third thing: I do know that my score is pretty good, but I didn’t mean to offend anyone. :s
fourth thing: I am aware of the implications of my score; I only wanted some insight on HOW MUCH it can help me, not whether it can, especially since I’m an international student with limited knowledge on college- which is why I joined CC.
fifth thing: I heard that if your college essay and your SAT essay show great disparity of quality, certain colleges take notice. I found this worrying. Naturally.

Which is why I wanted help.

picture plz

My son got 2390 on the SAT, with an 8 on the essay, and he did pretty well with college admissions. I think you should forget about it. In context, the 10 is just fine. Your score will help you a lot at top colleges–but of course, you’ll need grades, activities, etc., etc. There’s no reason for you to retake.

Here’s a story for you OP:

A friend of mine was accepted to Carnegie Mellon, Harvard, and Stanford and he got 2390.

But if you really consider that bad, then just give up and go to community college XD(jk)

Be careful of posting documents that can reveal your personal information. It’s not really a big deal but be wary that this is a public forum.

I feel your pain, OP. I haven’t taken the SAT yet, but I would be proud of anything over 2300. But a 2390 would hurt; I’d feel that I was so close to a 2400 that I could have got one if only I’d concentrated harder or studied more.

FYI, your real name and email are in that screenshot. You should blur them out.
