how difficult it is to score in that range on the Act.

It all depends on how good of test taker you are/how much you prepare for the ACT.

I got a twenty-eight in the seventh grade. it can be done.

Have you taken any practice tests?

It is difficult if all of your individuals scores are around your composite. Ok say your scores are E-28 M-32 R-20 S-20 ( those are random numbers I don’t know the composite of those at the moment). It would be “eaiser” to raise your reading and science than if all of your scores were around 25 because it would mean that you would have to raise all four sections. I hope I have helped a little atleast. I’m kind of in the same situation right now.

C- 26
E- 25
M- 31
R- 20(LOL!)
S- 27

Good luck to you ok your next Act!

the reading , and critical reading part I know I understand well. Its just math, I’m afraid I will screw up on.

It’s not hard.

I took the ACT with very little prep and while I was sick and got a 23 composite.

I wouldn’t say too hard.
I took a practice test before I even started studying and got a 26.
I just finished another one after studying a little and actually did worse and got a 25, but I didn’t study for reading or science yet which is what I really need help on.

How many questions do you need to get right on the math to get a about a 25 on it

singdancerunlife,23 is very bad score, why are you so happy about it

I got a 26 first time without any prep. I bombed the science part, didnt finish the math and i suck at english

for an average math section, id say you should get about 47/60 right for a 25. give or take plus or minus 1 or 2.

If you’re atleast reasonably intelligent, can read proficiently, can understand and interperate charts and graphs, have taken 2 years of Algebra, and 1 of Geometry (you didn’t even have to do that well), and English is your first language, you should have no problem getting in that range.

I think I sucked really bad on the science section. The lady who was the test mointor in the room had ‘accientially’ knocked down this clock from the desk , which interfered with the test on that section which just ticked me off.
