24 yr old transfer student!

I have two questions:

First, I am a couple classes away from being finished with my AA with a 3.1-3.2 gpa. I will be applying to schools late this summer/early fall for upcoming Spring semester. My question is, I am done with every class except for my math in 4 weeks since Im currently finishing a history class. I should of finished my math way sooner but now Im facing the realization that I wont be done with my math in time for applying for spring semester. Most private schools are a little more lenient on this rule but I was wondering will this pose a problem applying to UCs or Cal States without your math being finished?

Also, I wanted to inquire about good schools in California that i would have decent to good chance with, with my stats.

I have a 3.1-3.2 gpa, Political Science- International Relations major
Honors Student
Interning for the Federal Government domestically but will be interning for the same agency overseas after transfer.
Started out poorly when I first started going to CC and then after two semesters of slacking I made a drastic turn-around from a under 2.0 gpa with some W's to over a 3.0 and an active honors student with all my major classes taken at an honors level.

I would really appreciate any opinions or comments regarding my situation.

Thank you

3.1-3.2 gets you honors nowadays?

Your eligible to register for honors with a 3.0 or above at my CC. Take 18 units of honors credit basically adding additional work to normal course load. Complete 60 hours of community service and then you considered graduating with honors.

He might be talking about an honor society and not latin honors.
