I HAVE NEVER WANTED SOMETHING SO BADLY!!
Penn is the most perfect place, ever! I pray to the admissions G-d’s (aka ERIC FURDA) PLEASE ACCEPT ME!

yankee- STILL! Great chance.

Amen brainiac

@ Shizzle, haha thanks man. I haven’t heard anyone say anything positive about my application yet. haha

My parents, grandparents, and friends sometimes ask me if I’m sure I really want to go to penn (no one here has heard of penn and if they have, they don’t know it’s reputation). I’m always joking and counting down the days. But the worst time is when I’m in bed falling asleep and I try to imagine myself at Penn, and then myself at another–probably California–school. That’s how I know Penn is right for me.

Let’s do the “get into penn” dance! Dance to the gods of admissions and good fortune. :P

i’m a (kinda) lurker but i’m here now…2560 minutes!

“here’s a toast to dear old penn”

*offers toast as offering to appease Penn gods

@ Bangaboo- Honestly, if you don’t get into Penn you have california schools. I know that’s hard to hear, but that’s so amazing. Where i’m from, going to Berekley or UCLA is the world’s greatest thing that can happen to you. Here’s an example: My brother got into UCLA and his friend’s congratulations was a party with everything blue and yellow colored with soooo much alcohol and… other stuff… and teachers were giving him hugs in the halls screaming, “congrats!!” And i’m probably going to Cali if I don’t get in too, Santa Clara. They have a cool business school and my uncle said if I go there I can have his San Jose Sharks season tickets. ;)

Honestly guys, we need to be proud of ourselves.

Haha thanks yankee. Where are you from? Yeah I applied to Berkeley and UCLA but Berkeley is 30 minutes away and I really need to get out of California. I’m not saying they’re bad schools–in no way am I saying that–but personally I would just greatly prefer to go east.

My mom started singing the Penn song (hoorah hoorah PennsylvanIAH…etc) and I nearly cried, I just can’t believe we have ONE DAY left of waiting.

Should have put on my app: “have known the Penn school song since I was five!” I am not even joking…

Oh i for sure would want to go east, but california so warm and all the people are so friendly! yeah, my cousins are from San Jose. I’m from Oregon. Actually, if you follow Pac 10 sports, I’m from the city where the University of Oregon is in, eugene, i’m actually at their library right now doing homework, or at least trying. But yeah they’re awesome schools. I would laugh soo hard if you went to Bellarmine… you don’t do you?

Lol no I’m from a town called Walnut Creek. good luck to you!

Thanks man, you too! hopefully one day i’ll meet you at Penn! Sounds so epic.

I know! That’s one thing that’s so weird: that I may be spending my next 4 years with people i’m talking to on college confidential… wow.

This is kind of random, but I am jsut curious what your opnion is. My brother graduated from Penn Magna Cum Laude just last year, do you think that could possibly help me? I honestly have no idea, I assume not since siblings are not legacy, but still…

Thanks!

Lol. Boy conversations vs. girl conversations on CC are easy to distinguish.

oh really. how so? ^ shizzle

Girl: I WANT TO GET INTOOO PENNN SOOOOO BADLYYYYYY!!! omg omgomgog

Boy: Yeah, I want to go to Penn.

That’s how.

Hahaha then i guess i’m a girl?
