25 minutes is ridiculus

I can't even do mine in 1 hour.

I don't think i could copy and paste it in 25 mins

I think it's too long.

Then practice. It'll get easier as you do more of them.

Misspelling ridiculous is going to cost points on the essay =[

Have you taken AP US History?
that is the best way to prepare
on the exam you get like 30 minutes on each of two essays and then 45 on the BDQ
but like 30 minutes to write a historical essay is hard
i got pretty good at writing fast.....12 essay!! oh ya!!!
haha

It's not hard to write a 2 page essay in 25 minutes. It can be hard though to fit examples to the prompt. Once I get my examples down and think of a good quote for the intro or conc paragraph, it's very easy.

wasn't talking about me. I live in Canada and do Accuplacer--

we get an hour and do it on the computer.

i just meant i'm surprised at how good the essays are (the ones i have read)

it's really not that bad, they only look to see that your thoughts are organized, not that you've written a bestseller.

APUSH tests help the most, right now I'm trained to write at least 2 pages in less than 15min so SAT is basically joke

I can think of great ideas in seconds, but organizing my thoughts and determining how to organize my paragraphs takes up all my time. gahhh

Im a perfectionist. Writing an essay is a painfull process. I have to have the correct info. Everyword has to be perfect...

since i only have 3 days to practice. I had to change my mindset--

Instead of worry about messing i just fire them out... I don't even revise them or fix grammatical errors--

Okay, I consider myself a painful perfectionist too, but what I did to prepare for my essays is quite simple: just make your own essay formula and follow it ALL.THE.TIME.
All my essays often sound exactly the same, but it works. I got a 12.
