Till my dream is crushed.

='(

Haha that is a lot of pessimism.

I try to keep my expectations rather low and then I hope that I won’t fell so bad come March 30.

I’ve already decided I’m coming to school in PJs with a tub of Ben and Jerry’s on hand.

I’ve decided to go to school saying not a word about what the day is (i’m int’l so ppl don’t know). XD

If they really wanted to know, they can just search “yale university notification date”…

^ Intls have no idea about this sort of thing, you would find it quite amazing… Our university admissions (at least where I am from) work in quite a different way (almost all rolling admission) and they are nowhere NEAR as competitive as any of the top 50 in the US…

^haha yeah! And it would be quite stalkerish for people to search up the decision date of a school just so they can ask me about it loool.

You would hope that if they were that curious, they would be good enough friends to just ask you… But I have honestly told some people 1000 times and still get asked if I have the decision yet.

On a separate note I have one friend who thinks I am going to Oxbridge (again, despite having never applied and having told him 1000 times that I am not…)

Intls have no idea…

@Idiosyncra3y

Story of my life.

I’m not even international and that happens to me. Haha, shows how pitifully uninformed my town is about college stuff.

Glad to know that others have the same problems as me  Mostly amusing, occasionally annoying.

Me and this other kid also applied to Harvard but he is so not qualified that he didn’t even have a clue when the decisions came out. He’s been telling everyone April first. sigh.

Not going to school on march 30

Omg same haha.

Not going to school would make the waiting so much worse. I would sit on the couch all day and do nothing but think about the impending decision. At least at school I have something to take my mind off of the issue. I had snow days when my one EA decision came in and it was brutal.

Yeah, sitting around would only encourage me to check my email every five minutes, just in case, even though I know nothing will be there. So, I will be going to school and will manage to find something to keep me occupied until 6 or so, so that I know everything will already be online.

crap, I have spring break…and I’m gunna go crazy waiting… but at least when I find out I’ll be alone, so if I get rejected…yeah…

I already requested off March 30th from work… I’m such a nerd…

24 days.

kajshdfkahsdfas i can’t deal with this. Even though I’m not expecting anything really this is still way too much stress.

get back from spring break holiday (where I’m pretty sure there’ll be no e-mail) on the 1st, just in time to embrace the full deluge of admissions/rejections

it’s probably better than waiting up til 11 and then manically refreshing to see decisions
