Woe is you.

Bring an internet enabled phone or a laptop or something and just check really quickly at 5 o’clock to see. I am sure if you are accepted your instructor won’t mind and you can leave and celebrate. If you are rejected, like 25,000 other applicants, then just go back to playing the piano.

^who could go back to playing the piano after having their dreams crushed lol

^lol exactly. I’ll probably just do what I did for SCEA: focus very little in my piano lesson, break my speedometer on the way home, conveniently ignore stop signs I pass every day, and check my decisions on my laptop downstairs an hour and a half after they get released.

plus, by that time you wont get blocked out by the thousands of ppl trying to check their decisions

dreams being crushed is a little harsh. I guess that I don’t know what you all think but I am not concerned at all about the decision. My self-esteem will not be effected either way and I will just move on with my life and things will go back to normal about three minutes after decisions are released.

I remember sympathizing with you on the SCEA thread. I also had to wait until 7:30 to view my SCEA decision because of a bowling match. Not this time, though. No, no, I will be refreshing the page from about 3:30 on.

When will the actual letters come?

Probably a couple days after the 30th.

It’ll be the middle of the night where I live and I have a Chemistry exam in the morning. Don’t know what state of mind I’ll be in.
Good luck everyone!

^ I’m in the same boat. I get the decision at 8.00am where I live. Then I have a math test at 11am.

Oooh. That’s rough. Where do you live?

For me it comes out at 2pm–so I’ll be in class. I checked SCEA at school, after my test last period. It was alright…

@Orthocenter
sigh

@Quomodo =) Do you mean me?Pakistan, if you did.

I think he meant orthocenter, who must live in Australia, no?

Ahhh I’m a girl!

Don’t assume; it makes an a** out of you and me!!!

Haha anyway, I kinda meant both Shadowhunter and orthocenter…

@quomodo @cfcpauls93

Australia it is indeed. How did you guess?

I don’t know why i’m saying this but there’s a charity here in Australia called the Starlight Foundation. They do some really awesome work granting wishes to sick children. If 8.00am March 31st 2011 happens, but some whim of luck, to be my luck hour, I will donate every cent I earn in the next 1 and a half years to Starlight. If it isn’t to be, I’ll donate anyway but probably not every cent.

^March 30th :P

apologies quomodo- pardon the assumption!
orthocenter- just looking at time zones (on GMT myself)! Certainly seems like a worthy cause (Starlight, that is)- we’ll have to hold you to that when you get in, mate (intended with purely neutral gender connotations
)

9 days.

I feel like all my internal organs are imploding.

Ugh.

(Btw, when Yale says 5pm, that is EST right?)

Yes. . . .
