Many do not do as well on the science section as others the first time out because of its unfamiliarity -- as anyone who has taken it knows, it isn't really much "science" but instead mostly tests ability to review and interpret graphs and data. Also, missing only a small number can mean a significant drop from 36 in the section -- e.g., there are some tests where missing one science question automatically drops you to a 34 in that section, i.e., there is no 35 score, and missing four can put you at 30. Your 32 ACT is good but in the lower 50% for MIT and possibly HYP (although at least Yale of that group considers the math and English section the more important; peculiarly, there are actually engineering schools, Georgia Tech and Rose Hulman, that ignore the science section entirely for admission). Whether you should take ACT again depends on you. There is always the risk your scores in the other sections could go down.
