We believe in you man.

I’ll be 25 on Nov 5th.
I have 3 Kids; 7, 5, 4 yrs old.

I’m not about to bum around and feel like I’m too old, got to do what I’ve got to do, somebody is counting on me, on you as well.

This $10-$17 job isn’t going to cut it. A Degree is the window for opportunity.

I’ll be transferring to A&M in Fall 2013, and most likely receiving a Bachelor in Petroleum Engineering when I’m 27 in 2015.

Good Luck.

I am a 30-year-old engineering physics major (computer science concentration). Do I often feel out of place among a jillion fresh-faced 18, 19, and 20-year-olds? Yes, but sometimes I’ll see a student even older than myself.

Oh, and my dad is in his fifties and in college for nursing.

You’re never too old to educate yourself.

I had a similar situation (well, different reasons but the end result about the same). I went to a community college to do my first two years. Many colleges will consider your gap, and that you’ve come back and made life changes when looking at previous bad grades.

At my community college there were running start students, and ex military. There were many ages. I will graduate at 30, and I’m glad I went back.

I forgot to add, I ended up getting ~$30k/year in scholarships/grants because of my life experiences for my last two years (when I went to a University). Don’t give up on yourself.
