29 on ACT

Hey, guys!

I recently took the ACT and received a 29 (23 on Math/Science and 35s on writing/English). I have a solid GPA, class rank, ECs, and recs, but I'm looking to increase my chances for admissions and financial aid. Do you think I should submit this score or not?

Also, I want to apply to Wake before Dec 1st to be considered for FA, so I plan to submit my app mid-November, but does anyone know if they accept future December test dates? Thank you!

Hey, gracets

Didn’t know if you knew, but Wake is also test optional, so you don’t even have to send in your scores with your app unless you just want to. Our admissions counselor told us specifically not to send them, that they really do look at the whole person as far as GPA, EC’s, essays, etc. She told us that some people actually have gotten full rides w/o test scores, believe it or not. Won’t know until the end of March, though, how my D will fare. Good luck to you!
