2B+s in non academic classes

<p>I am a junior this year and I have taken the most challenging classes since the 9th grade (5 APs so far, I took AP calc BC in my sophomore year when everyone else in my class was in pre cal at the most, and 4 APs this year)
So far, All As and A+s but 2 B+s. one in Bible, yes i go to a private christian school, and the other one in Band.. my teacher hated me for some reason</p>

<p>so the question is, how colleges will look at these? will the 2Bs hurt my chance of getting into top schools?</p>

<p>except for the two Bs, I guess I would b a fairly strong applicant. ( pretty high SAT1,2 scores, decent ECs, good recs, everything's going smooth)</p>

<p>Everything other than being completely perfect hurts your application.</p>

<p>But seriously, 2 B+s are not bad. Many people who get accepted to top schools do not in fact have straight As all 4 years of high school.</p>

<p>Correct. Especially so in band, where for all they know you got the B+ simply because you’re not a brilliant musician.</p>
