Coming from a top 50 undergrad institution with around/less than 3.0 gpa, average LSAT, average work experience, how hard would it be to get into a tier 2 or 3 law school right out of undergrad?....I know I really wanna go to law school, and that I'm not particularly interested in the top ones, just the ones that are fairly well respected and will help me be a good lawyer. What kind of stats/experience would one need to be accepted to one of these less prestigious law schools?

Best to look what program you want to get into. Many "lower" schools still have top programs in certain areas, so they're a great bargain and not that hard to get into.

Score north of 156 on the LSAT, and you can pretty much get into most of the lower tier schools, no matter your GPA
