2nd Additional Rec nowhere to be found!

<p>I have two additional recs, one from my therapist and one from my former teacher and creative writing mentor. </p>

<p>All of the schools I've checked up on have my therapist's recommendation, but none have my former teacher's, which was sent about a week after. I was curious why, until I talked to Pomona. They said that I am only allowed one additional rec. </p>

<p>Would this explain why no other schools claim to have my writing mentor's letter? Do you know of any schools that accept more than 1 additional rec?</p>

<p>Yes, there are schools that will accept more than one additional rec letter. Some schools are strict about how many letters they will look at, others not. The fact is even schools that allow it have very limited time to spend on each application and they want to discourage people from sending in letters that don’t provide new information.</p>

<p>I have emailed each school on an individual basis to see what they prefer. I really wonder how none of her letters managed to make it to the schools though</p>
