2nd Interview for Deferred

Hi.
I applied SCEA and was deferred. I already had an interview with someone back in December.
Now, I was offered another interview with a different person. Neither of the emails (the one from princeton, or the alumn) mentioned that this was my second interview.
Has anyone else received this? I'm not sure if I just got another interview with the regular decision pool, or if it's indicating they still have interest in me.
Input apprecated.

Thanks!

Princeton sometimes gives students a second interview if the first one was indecisive or on-the-fence.

Any time you have the opportunity to make a second impression is always a positive sign and a move forward. You should go into your interview and be “your best” self. Be relaxed, be charming, be engaging and come prepared with questions for your interviewer that relate to your academic and extracurricular interests. And be prepared to answer a variety of questions:

I had it today. My interviewer was slightly confused also as to why she was interviewing an early action candidate so late. She said she’d send a note in to the regional director, so I’m thinking my 1st one might not have been filed properly, because it was a last minute thing (my 1st interviewer contacted me like 2 days before the deadline).
Thanks!

Gibby, I am not aware that this is the case (and I do alumni interviews). Might I ask where you got this information?

I hadn’t heard that either and my interviewer did not indicate that to be the case.
