2nd Round -- What are my chances?!

I didn’t apply early decision because I did not initially plan on attending FSU. I’ve already applied for the March decision, but I am aware the admission rate is going to drop. I’m not sure I can get in because my SAT score is subpar…but the rest of my record is pretty decent. Please help me with this. Thank you!

New SAT: 1150 (WR 640, 510 M)

I think your chances would’ve been great in the earlier round (deadline in October). Now it seems for the next round they may be accepting as few as 25 percent of the rest of the applicants. I don’t know what this will do to the stats with respect to whom they accept, so all you can really do is hope for the best. And make sure you have backup options.

Good luck!

Someone shared an article from the Tallahassee paper on here recently. According to the article, FSU is estimating to accept around 4,000 students out of 20,000 applicants in the next round.

Wow, that’s 1 in 5 for the RD round.

Yeah, I read that article–which is why I’m wary about getting in.

Thank you! This makes sense. I guess I have a slight chance, then.
