<p>Why are you taking introduction to Geometry? Doesn’t your school offer Geometry regular or Geometry Honors? When I was a freshman, I took Honors Geometry.</p>
<p>We have an introduction to Geometry course at my school, and let’s just say I doubt I would see CC’ers in there.</p>
<p>yes. we do have honors geometry, WHERE i should be! but the teacher i had in the beginning of the year screwed me over when i didn’t do the summer packet because i wasn’t informed that there WAS one and she gave me a 0! i came from another school district in 8th grade so the guidance counselors never told me there was a test grade packet due on the first day of school! & this teacher blew everything out of proportion & told me my algebra skills suck so she put me in the slash class which is basically for dummies! but i have a 99% average right now because we did algebra review first term!</p>
<p>but my guidance counselor and teacher and assistant principal told me i could take a summer course and finish geometry over the summer and get back into the honors math for sophmore year…</p>
<p>so i basically got screwed over from a b*tchy teacher that didn’t get the chance to know me… =/</p>
<p>btw, do you think this will count against me for colleges and everything? being in like the class below honors freshman year??</p>
<p>AP Brit Lit is AP English but our school curriculum is British Literature in jr. year, so that’s what we do.</p>
<p>We have read Sir Gawain, Macbeth, King Lear, Beowulf, Canterbury Tales, etc.</p>
<p>Since I didn’t get accepted to UNC-Chapel Hill, I’m going to drop French II and Leadership and just take Honors English IV and Honors Physics. I also have a senior graduation project due by May so that will give me a little more time to work on that. First semester GPA was a 4.16 so I pretty much worked my butt off and now I’m gonna chill just a bit. :)</p>

<p>Are you instate and didn’t get accepted into UNC? It would be amazing if you didn’t get in instate with a 4.16 GPA.</p>

<p>No, I don’t believe it will hurt you as long as you get into the honors track by your sophomore year. You will be fine. Your Honors Geometry teacher sounded like she had something stuck up her, ummm, you know. I certainly would have understood your situation if you came from another district. You should have gotten your mother to complain or complain harder. It is amazing what parents can do for you, especially when they threaten with the word “lawyer.” Tends to get things done.</p>
