Okay. We're second semester seniors. Now it's the waiting game.

Though I am not wishing to do such a thing, but out of complete curiosity, just how low can your grades go this semester? My counselor told me usually colleges (notably the elite ones) prefer that you kept above a 3.0---WEIGHTED.

I'm applying to some prestigious liberal arts colleges and was merely curious.

If you're already in, just keep your GPA above 3.0 or so. Try to keep your grades at Bs or better, though one C probably won't kill you (I wouldn't risk it though, and frankly it's really easy to slack off and still get above a C).

I find that it's hard to slack off. I either do the assignment and do a half-assed job (as usual) and get an A, or I don't do the assignment in which case I get a 0, and my grade drops substantially. So I just do it. With that said I don't have to study for tests as hard. That's really it.

That is how I feel exactly! It's not hard to get A's...it's just time it takes to do the work, which can't really be avoided without doing it at all.
