Do 2nd semester grades count in your senior year? Do most colleges even look at them? If I go from a 3.6 to maybe 3.0 (straight B's) but I have 4 AP's, would that be sufficient for them to kick me out?

if you have straight b's with 4 ap's then your pretty much getting a 4.0

with the extra credit. my school gives extra grade point if you take an ap

OK, but I got a 3.6 first semester with 4 AP's.

bump (10 char)

EISD, your're kidding, right?

Straight B's would certainly not make any college rescind admission...c'mon!

r u serious?

OK, let's say I get a few C's with it. And absolutely no A's.

No more than one or two Cs.

what about a high F (60s) in an ap calc class, but everything else is an A?

OK, but let's say I drop a class but it's not an AP class, and I still have no A's? Although, it's a science class...

Our second semester grades just went out, I didn't do as well as I would have liked to, do you think colleges even look at grades now, or have all the decisions been made.

chacha, you must mean second marking period. I don't think any high school is finished with school this early. Assuming you mean your midyear report, it will probably have little to no effect unless your grades are dramatically worse.

semesters are half a year, so second semester is the end of school. Perhaps if you're an international though, maybe you are finished with school.

In most cases you must inform your school of a schedule change.

I think it's safe to say it's dangerous to have anything below a C.

so if I get a C in ap physics, and like 3 B's and 2 A's, it wouldn't cancel my decision?

bump... I'm in the same situation and I want to know too.

and is it ok to get like 2 Cs, 1 B, and 4 As for NYU

Im in the same situation as the OP.... I had a 4.01 UW with 4 APs during my first semester of senior year, and so far this semester I have 1 A- and all B's, equivalent approx to a 3.6

Will colleges (top colleges btw) turn me down?

I didnt post to brag about myself, I know all B's isnt that bad; but compared to my first semester, Ive been doin horrible this semester and Im really worried about it.

I really don't think any college would do anything because of Bs.
