<p>Hello, I recently received my 2nd semester high school transcript and I am in the top 7%! (44/631) Do I now qualify for automatic admission if I send in my new transcript? My previous rank was 50/650 (About 7.7). Is there anything I can do about my admission? I still haven't been accepted into UT.</p>

<p>I don’t think they will take this into consideration. You have to be in the top 7% before the application deadline.</p>
<p>Mctech are you in state? I would go ahead and email it to them. It shows an improvement in your senior year. It may not make any difference but it may also. I too moved up in ranking. People above me were smart enough to leave all unweighted classes till their second semester senior year. I took the required pe my freshman year. Also my unweighted gpa has me in the top 5% but weighted I’m 6.2%, and the weighted gets sent by my school in calculating rank.</p>

<p>You may still not be auto admit but it helps you in the evaluations of all those who weren’t up there all. I don’t see how it can hurt. Good luck!</p>
