I need financial aid
I have not totally researched colleges . Can you give some other good coll?

You need to research which schools give fin aid to intl students, because there are NOT many. Particularly look at Oberlin as if you apply ED then you will have to go no matter what they offer you.

??? Isn't virtually every ED commitment, including Oberlin's contingent upon adequacy ofthe financial arrangements, in the opinion of the student? I thought this "financial out" was pretty standard.

The schools you chose are a good list for you.

I'd also consider Rice and DePauw--both of which offer significant financial aid to internationals.

NYU is a popular school with internationals also--but their financial aid to tuition ratio for internationals is just so-so.

P.S. Great grades and pretty good test scores. Good job--you'll get accepted at about 8-9 of the schools you listed. And I think you are 50-50 at Rice and definitely in at DePauw if you apply to those schools.

Good luck.

Thanks Calcruzer,

But my essay is not that outstanding( i have written an conventional one). Does this significantly reduce my chances?
