Do the 2nd year students in the Honors Program get housed together?

If so, in what building?
Is it guaranteed, or by a lottery?
How many students can live together?

How easy will it be to get a triple-suite? Are my son and his friends better off having four or more willing to live together? I guess the question is whether there are more suites available of a certain size, obviously making it easier to get that size.

Thanks in advance for any info.

All upperclass honors housing is in West Village F and C (but second-years are more likely to get into F… C fills up quickly because it has singles). I don’t think it’s technically guaranteed, but most honors students who want to live in honors housing get to because lots of honors students don’t request honors housing in order to live with non-honors friends or to move off-campus. I think the suites are mostly 6- and 8-person with doubles, a kitchen, and two bathrooms. You’re more likely to live with who you want to live with if you request less people because then they can fit you in with other groupings.
