3.0 weighted senior year?

on the contract it says to maintain a 3.0 senior year in a-g courses. Is that averaged through both semesters or is it 3.0 weighted each semester? for example, if i got a 4.0 first semester and a 2.0 second semester would that still mean i won't get rescinded? thanks

um, i think you have to just have all C’s or higher… correct me if i’m wrong, but i don’t think if you get 2.0 one semester, it will really affect you. but honestly, i think you should work a little bit harder if your gpa is 2.0 and you got into irvine. other people worked harder and they deserve the spot more than you if you slack off like that…

oh nvm. if you have a 2.0 for a semester, i believe that you could be rescinded… i thought you meant quarter.

I read UCI’s webpage about this (it’s under #1): [UCI - Office of Admissions and Relations with Schools](http://www.admissions.uci.edu/maa_uci/freshman_contract.html)
And I guess it is weighted 3.0GPA. Be careful though! Pull your grade up to at least a C just to be on the safe side of not getting rescinded. If you have any personal reasons why your grade dropped to 2.0 second semester, don’t hesitate to email the UCI admission and explain why this happened. Good luck!
