Hello,

I am a Comm Coll student now with a 3.14 GPA, and I was wondering what my chances of getting into Uconn's accounting program is.

My first semester's GPA was 2.8ish(taking 4 classes), second was 3.5ish (taking 5 more advanced classes),
To be honest it was purely out of laziness and partying, but I still have 2 more semesters to go to bump it up to a 3.3.

But lets assume I get a 3.2 because the classes are harder, what will my chances at Uconn's accounting program be then? Should I just apply to be an Econ major(school of liberal arts) or general business degree then switch to accounting after one semester and some good grades? Will my chances be increased by me applying as a general business or Econ student?

I was born in Israel so I am foreign born and my accounting teacher offered to write me a great letter of recommendation.I also have had a job since I was a Junior in HS (3 years) if that helps any.

Thanks for the tips!
