I just curious about this program feedback. Are most of the kids in this program get in or not? Thank you
they have a guaranteed admissions if you meet certain requirements and even if you such as maintaining above a 3.3 and nothing below a b in pre engineering courses. But if you mess up and get a b- or 3.29 you still have good chances of getting in
Most kids drop out of 3-2 program because it’s pretty hard. If you get in, you’ll do fine at Columbia.
And yes, they have guaranteed admission, so you pretty much know whether you’ll get in before you even apply, you just have to meet the requirements.
It is an excellent well regarded program for hard working motivated students. Columbia’s programs are quite rigorous.
has anyone completed the program with a business major as there first major? How difficult is this to do?
No one that I know of. I did hear of one guy who did it with a philosophy major, however.
What major do you plan on doing at Columbia? That affects the difficulty you’ll have at your first school, since different engineering majors at Columbia have different prerequisites at your first school.
It’s not impossible by any means, and I’d say it’s definitely doable. If you’re willing to put in the work, that is.
