3-2 Dual engineering program

I want to go into biomedical engineering when I go into Georgia Tech, but I don’t know what major I should pursue when I’m in Emory. I’m considering biophysics, Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology, and chemistry in that order, but I’m considering any major as long as it helps me in a career in BME. Are there any majors that will allow me to graduate with a bachelors from Emory and a bachelors in BME that’ll help me land a decent job without going to grad school?
I am also concerned about transferring into Georgia Tech. Is it hard to transfer there?
And lastly I’m concerned about cost at Tech. I got into Emory through Questbridge, and Emory was generous with my financial aid (I will have to pay around 10k for this year). Is Tech generous with aid even though I’m from out of state?
Thanks a lot for helping!

@Chrisgoo123 : Biophysics or the computational side of NBB may be a good pathway to BME. The skills you gain will likely make you employable for sure (that’s what matters more so than the courses and the degree. What did you do with them).

Tech transfer is basically guaranteed coming from Emory with their minimum requirements so don’t worry too much about it.

Cost- not sure here. Maybe by some miracle, Emory’s aid may carry over.

*Note that there are also things such as: the Beckman Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Computational Neuroscience which gives a 14200 dollar stipend to be spread over 2 summers and an academic year. Maybe doable if you have 1 year of Emory success under your belt (can be used to buffer costs you incur at Emory or when you get to Tech in addition to just making you more experienced and networked for jobs, post-grad opps, etc).

@bernie12 Thanks so much! I feel more secure in choosing Emory. Now I have to find the cost at Tech and it’s a done deal.
