Hi, I'm a senior in highschool and for the past few months, I've been considering a 3-2 engineering program between Adelphi and Columbia university. I've visited Adelphi and have spoken with the head of physics chairperson about the 3-2 and so far, everything seems to be too good to be true. He told me there's no admission requirements for getting into the program itself as a freshman- just that I get into Adelphi. Of course the work will be very difficult and demanding, but I know the minimum requirements to succeed in the program (3.3 minimum gpa, B in math + science class on first attempt, letters of recomendation, ect). However, I still have a few questions about the program that hopefully any of you can answer. I've heard from my friend that the program only admits 150 students and despite looking online, I really couldn't find anything to verify this. Also, if any of you have transferred to Columbia through this program, I'd like to hear about your experiences. Thanks!!
