3.3 GPA 2200 SAT Chances?

I got into Purdue University EA for Actuarial Science Major:
3.27 UW GPA, 3.4 W GPA
2200 SAT(770 math, 760 writing, 670 critical reading)
You should be able to get Rutgers

Some other suggestions that come to mind are Purdue, Ohio State, University of Minnesota, University of Iowa, Michigan State, UW Seattle

In addition to the gpa, we should also look at the Navience of that HS. In NJ there are highly ranked, rigorous public HS, such as Princeton and Chatham where a .3.4 gpa could get into schools like Wake and ND.

USC will be a solid reach.

Rutgers: Low Reach
Northeastern: Low Reach
Boston Unviersity: Low Reach
Illinois- Urbana Champaign: Low Reach
Wake Forest: Low Reach
Boston College: Low Reach
Michigan: Low Reach

Your GPA is gonna be a barrier but not impossible.

I don’t think most of these people know what they are talking about. I would personally use parchment.com or Naviance to view actual acceptance/denial scatterplots to determine your competitiveness since your situation is pretty unique. Keep in mind that scores rise every year so you can’t trust those results wholeheartedly either. Let me know the results!

Also, you’re currently a junior right? This is your most important year; keep those grades high and you can possibly raise your GPA to 3.6 this year and to 3.65 by second semester next year.
