3.3 gpa + 2300 sat

<p>You have a very strong shot everywhere. Your SAT score will put you in the top 200 African-American female students in the country, your junior-year GPA is notable, you have a reason for the early poorer performance, and you will taken the most rigorous curriculum available. If you were to take the top 200 African-American females in the country and divide them among the top schools, you would quickly find you are competitive (not a shoo-in, but competitive) everywhere. </p>

<p>But this doesn’t tell you ANYTHING about what kinds of schools you should be aiming at? What do you want to study? Do you want an urban or rural environment? All women’s school? (I’d recommend Smith.) Is community service as part of your college experience important to you? What kind of financial need do you have? Are you looking for merit aid?</p>
