Here are the admit rates for 2019 Freshman at all the UC’s. Your target schools would be UC Merced and UC Riverside. Intended major can impact your chances so majors such as Engineering/CS, Psychology, Biology etc… will require higher stats and have lower admit rates.

Is your 3.66 weighted GPA your UC/CSU capped weighted GPA?

If you are a CA resident, then seriously consider some of the Cal states. Many have programs comparable to the UC’s and an affordable price. 2020 admit data should be available early 2021.

Make sure you have a good balance of safety, match and reach schools on your list.

UC’s are test optional for the next 2 admission cycles so a high score can be advantageous so definitely consider taking the SAT and/or ACT.

CSU’s are test blind for this admission cycle.

Best of luck and apply widely since the competition will probably be even tougher this coming admission cycle.

Your GPA is well below the mid point so, I also think its going to be a stretch for all of them.

Apply to those that interest you but, also apply to several CSUs. Long Beach, CPP, Chico, Sonoma among others.

It is going to be a crazy year so, apply broadly.
good luck.

3.66 is my UC capped GPA. My reg. weighted would be would be a 3.8 (still low :frowning: ). Thank you for your help! I signed up for the ACT, so I hope I’ll get a high score.

I’ll also be applying to CSUs. Thank you for helping me!
