3.45 UC GPA and 2090 SAT?

What schools would I have a shot at?

I have a 600R 740M 750W (hope to bring up that reading), and a 3.45 UC GPA which isn't very good. Coming for a top ten nationally ranked HS in FL where all my classes are honors or AP.

I have Varsity Lax and other ECs as well as community service.

I still need to take those SAT IIs.

Oh and that’s a 3.5 actually.

With honors weighted my GPA is a 3.75 (thats an extra .5 for each honors)

Did you recalculate the UC GPA using Grade 10, Grade 11 and Summers a-g classes only and honors points for only 4 year long AP and selected honors (e.g. Hons Pre-calculus) classes?

You need around 4.0 UC weighted GPA for the top three - Berkeley, LA, and San Diego. OOS may be harder. You may have a better shot at some of the other UCs.

DPC, you do realize that as a FLA resident you will be full pay for UCs?

If you are out of state, you only get the honors bump for AP or IB coursework.

Is the “honors bump” for IB applicable for Standard Level IB’s or only High Level IB’s. And does Theory of Knowledge count as an IB, or a class at all in the UC GPA?

You can probably figure it out when you do your UC app online on Pathways, starting Oct 1 (tomorrow)!

For the CA high schools, the system picks up the classes and you select from the list. Don’t know about OOS.

You get extra credit only for 4 year long AP or college level (IB?)
classes. So the UC GPA is capped at 4.5 or lower theoretical maximum.
