3.5-3.7 unweighted too low for USC?

<p>Should I even bother applying with this low of a GPA?</p>

<p>And I have another question: Does legacy only apply to parents and grandparents who attended the school? Because my great uncle and all of his kids went to USC. And my great uncle still donates to the school a lot.</p>

<p>If you want to go, apply anyway. 3.5-3.7 doesn't prevent you from going to USC. It depends on the rigors of your courseload as well, incorporated with the rest of the admissions process (SAT, ECs). I believe legacy is any relative, but a stronger case would be with parents and grandparents</p>

<p>Not it's not low. It depends on your high school. I've seen naviance scattergram of my daughter high school for both USC and UCLA down to 3.45(weighted). They could be athletes but D's friend got in around 3.4 uw GPA(could be lower).</p>
