3.57, 1650....Got into Cornell!

"Being black, after norming for socio economic background is worth OVER 350 SAT points in the top 25 universities ... Harvard included. I previously posted all of the documentation with resouces, but the post was deleted because it was too sensitive and/or politically correct. "
Great, so I got rejected from schools with a 2550 SAT? Wow, they must have really hated me.

Y2K, I had plenty of proof... voluminous in fact but the monitor deleted the whole thread because people like yourself need to be protected from the truth about racial preferences and merit. I guess the charade will continue as long as we are more concerned with hurt feelings at the expense of the truth. For instance ... take law scools and minorities:

Startling testimony at a recent U.S. Commission on Civil Rights hearing from Dr. Richard Sander, Professor of Law at UCLA, showed that racial preferences at American law schools are just such a sham. Professor Sander’s two most recent analyses reveal extraordinary disparities between black law students and their white comparatives: The grade-point averages of approximately 50 percent of black law students cluster in the bottom ten percent of the class. Blacks are two and a half times more likely than whites not to graduate. Blacks are four times more likely to fail the bar exam on the first try and six times more likely never to pass the exam despite multiple attempts

Maybe he could play football at Cornell, but not Temple.

Not sure how to answer that. Pretty much ANYONE could play for our football team. We pretty much have the WORST D1 football team. Theyre probably going to take away the team too.

Blink, get over your racial obsession & racism. It's pathetic. Private Joker is right...and you need to get over yourself.

fumes

Blinks not a racist.

Blink look at the whole picture. I do not see you posting about legacy students. I am black, I can not change that. Very much like how a legacy student can not change that they are a legacy student. Someone will always have an edge in certain situations. Good looking women have a chance much greater then someone better qualified and average looking to get a job. They have a much greater chance to get a lighter sentence from a judge then someone who is average looking. But I do not see you posting inflammatory statements about good looking people. Whether you like it or not, thats life.

I have to accept, when going to urban area, that I will be unjustly targeted by police. I do not complain and rant about it because thats life.

And back to the URM in college, I have had 10 cousins who graduated either valedictorian or in the top 10 of their class. Everytime at a competitive high school. Only 5 got into IVY league schools. You can not tell me that being a URM is like adding 350 points to scores.

"Great, so I got rejected from schools with a 2550 SAT? Wow, they must have really hated me."

Hahahhahahahahaaa I love that comment.

Blink if you want college to based on merit then you are screwing a lot of our veterans of war over. My cousin has fought in Afghanistan and Iraq. He joined Marines on 9-12-01. He was not that good of a student but he had the hook. If you realistically believe that in a perfect world everything should be based on merit you need to go out to the real world.

I'm fairly sure Temple does not have a football team to clear things up. They're one of those no football but good at basketball schools. So no team equals no admission.

EDIT: Oh wait, never mind. Temple DOES have a football team and they are the worst DI program basically ever. So, I'm baffled. Maybe they don't care about it, they are getting kicked out of the Big East.

Temple was 0-11 last year. They got their ass kicked by every team they played.

Yeah we're horrendous. I do go to the games though. Cant beat the president's box :)

y2k, blink has been blatantly racist in past threads, stating that jews are inherently more intelligent than white, whites more intelligent than black.

Although his post count is now 12...was he banned and re-signed up or something?

Where exactly does it say he was rejected from Temple? Also, I didn't think such a thing was possible!??!?!?

Hello, blink

I have sent you a private message.

this gives me more motivation & hope.

Blink has the studies to prove the disparities in intelligence seperating the races.

Its not racist to tell the truth.

Where exactly does it say he was rejected from Temple? Also, I didn't think such a thing was possible!??!?!?

That's really funny......

Having just got home from work , I'm exhausted so I'll respond briefly. Serving in Afghanistan and Iraq is NOT A HOOK! It is a sacrifice that one made on behalf of his country. It is an act of guts and selflessness. It is a tangible quality that serves as a QUALIFICATION that MERITS consideration. Just like someone who has served in the Peace Corp ... or ACHIEVED something extraordinary. To say that the amount of pigmentation in one's skin (or the sound of his last name) merits equal ... or for that matter ANY extra consideration is INANE.

Regarding LEGACIES, I posted previously an exhaustive study that shows th Ivy League legacies get no extra consideration. And the fact is that the progeny of Ivy League legacies that get into an Ivy League school are far better qualified than the average admit. The fact is that (as hard as this is to believe) that multi million dollar donors don't statistically get extra consideration in the Ivies. Take Harvard with its $50 billion (?) endowment. It, along with the other IVIES could eliminate all tuition and expenses and still run in the black off of the income from investments. A $15 million donation would is irrelevant to them.

Unfortunately, the monitor of this board deleted all the DOCUMENTED information I posted that supports this, as the typically reader on this board is considered to be too immature and pollyanish to handle FACTS that do not pass thru the PC filter. What a group of ignorant babies that will be populating our colleges in the future.

Unjustly? If you are a black male between 16 and 30, you are 10 times more likely to have committed a criminal act than a white male of the same age. In fact 92% of interracial murder is black on white .... not the reverse. And, 98% percent of interracial rape is black on white. These stats come right from the FBI. By stopping young black males in the inner city, it is the BLACK population that the police is protecting. Because, in spite of the interracial statistics, the overwhelming victims of young black males are BLACKS. The black communuty should APPLAUD the police for being extra vigilant as relates to black males.

Lastly, I grew up in a coal mining community in Appalachia. I can assure you that you would have a far greater chance of staying alive by walking thru MY neighborhood at night that I would if I took a stroll thru Compton or the South Bronx.

You are a real piece of work. Have you taken any graduate-level sociology classes? If not, you need to.
