With a 3.58 GPA what are my chances to get into UCI, UCLA, UC Davis etc? Obviously, there are going to be a variety of factors, but just basing on my GPA what are my chances? Since I took 5 APs total during 10-11th grade, my GPA isnt as high as i would want it to be. Also, would senior year GPA matter or factor in my 3.58 GPA from 10-11?

Is the 3.58 weighted for those APs and any honors? The Sr year is not factored into the UC gpa calculation but they will certainly take consideration of how challenging your schedule is and your grades. It is holistic admissions, so they look at everything.

Either way I don’t know your chances. There is sat too and essay. And admissions is competitive and can sometimes seem unpredictable. I would just say to apply widely and don’t neglect CSUs.

No, that is my unweighted GPA. My sat score is 2000+

Calculate your CSU/UC Weighted GPA see link: <a href=“Cal State Apply | CSU”>Cal State Apply | CSU; using only your 10-11th grade a-g courses along with a maximum of 4 year long or 8 Semesters of AP/Honors classes. Based on your UW GPA, your UC GPA should be around 3.7-3.9 I am guessing. UC’s weigh GPA more heavily over tests scores, so for the top tier UC’s: UCLA/UCB/UCSD, your GPA will make them a reach. For UCI/UCD/UCSB, their average GPA for in-coming Freshman this year was above a 4.0, but your STAT score is good so I would chance you at a High Match/Low Reach. Your matches would be UCSC/UCR/UCM. Senior year rigor will be a factor, but grades will not be included in your GPA. You should work on your essays and really make the interesting and unique. Many times a well written essay could contribute to a borderline applicants acceptance. Good Luck!
