<p>i'm a current student at brown but this chances thread is for my cousin, who'll be applying to law school in a few months</p>

<p>Why are so many people asking for chances “for their cousins”? Is that the high-schoolers way to calculate their future chances for LS? Maybe I just had bad cousins. But then again, I never gave so much information about my academic record, dreams and goals to any of them. Hmmm …</p>

<p>Wildflower, I was about to say the same thing. I don’t know about you guys, but I have a bunch of cousins and I have done none of their college research for them.</p>

<p>believe what y’all want… there’s no definitive way for me to prove it to you, so i don’t see the point in the argument… i’m legitimately curious about my cousin’s chances, we’re like brothers but he’s the kinda guy who’d never post on one of these sites so i wanted to check things out for him and see where he’d have a realistic chance of being accepted.
and bosque, i wouldn’t call this much of research, but i do know he’s applying to several ivy league law schools and i wanted to see if he’d have a shot… i don’t really see how it’s so shocking that i’d ask this or know my cousin’s information – back when i used to use this site a lot in HS i made a chances post or two for my best friend who was applying to some of the same schools as me.
