3.6 GPA and 2370 SAT, what does college admissions think when they see that?

I assume they'll think I'm extremely lazy. What is the best way to present myself given this? What can I do to compensate?

Depends on your coursework.

I’m taking all AP classes (chem and english now, physics and stats senior year) or honors.

I would think it depends on how difficult your school is. (having a high class rank is a good)

If your school isn’t very rigorous , I don’t know if theres much to do other then work hard for a higher GPA during your senior year first semester.

You could load up on ECs, but that can only do so much for your application.

I also have low gpa/high test score (i’m full ib) and I can not deny that it is because I am lazy. Unsurprisingly, everyone else I know with low gpa/high test scores are also lazy

What is your class rank?

same boat but lower stats.
3.5 gpa
2330 sat
messed up my freshmen year pretty badly and took 1 AP, and took 3 AP classes sophomore year. Now i’m a junior and starting to do better but i’m scared as heck to apply for colleges next year.
where are you planning on applying?

either: you go to a competative school, or that you were lazy about school work so you studied hard for one test. both senerios are bad so get gpa up.

Do you have an upward trend? There may be some forgiveness if so depending on the schools to which you are applying.
