<p>Possible? Sure. From what you are telling us (not a whole lot), you look to be on the right track, but you never know.</p>
<p>3.6 GPA from a university comparable to UNC seems like pretty strong stats to me.</p>
<p>does it matter that I am out of state when it’s a transfer situation?</p>
<p>does that increasingly lower my chances to a good public like UNC?</p>
<p>It would lower your chances.</p>
<p>being in-state or out-of-state has no bearing on the acceptance of transfer students.</p>
<p>I’m not saying you’re a definite in, but the chances are very highly in your favor.</p>

<p>As Mikey said, it doesn’t make a difference. UNC doesn’t care what state you are from if you are applying as a transfer.</p>
