3.7 GPA 2120 SAT College Senior Chance

Considering the amount of colleges, no one needs to go into great detail. I am a high school Senior male, middle class, in an above average public high school in my area (Central Massachusetts).
I am hoping to major in something related to Biology

Colleges I am Applying to:
Boston College

Boston University

Brandeis University

Cornell University

Duke University

New York University

Northeastern University

Tufts University

University of Connecticut

Essay: I'd say my essay was above average, worked on it with many teachers/professors, lots of drafts and revisions
Recommendation: One very good and personable, one probably the typical McReccomendation

Post unweighted GPA with two decimal places. I will assume that your GPA is 3.65 because of one of your old threads. Your unweighted GPA is extremely low. Most of the schools on your list are probably reaches.

Extremely Low. Wow. And my old thread was Term 3 Junior Year, it went up. Thanks though

With your standardized test scores, it is unlikely you will get into a school on the level of Duke. I know a person who was denied with an ACT 34 and she had a great application and 4.0.

Thanks Whuffy! I knew that was a high high reach, got a free app and said why not.

Because you want to major in biology, your chances will be lower than if, say, you wanted to major in Mathematics.

Reach:

Brandeis
Cornell
Duke
Tufts

Match:

Boston College
Boston University
NYU
Rochester
Villanova

Low Match:

Massachusetts Amherst
Northeastern

Safety:

Connecticut

How are those GPA’s low ? They’re better than 90% of the national average.

@Unitize‌
The schools that OP is applying to are better than over 90% of all universities.

Look at the Accepted student profile for most of the schools save for Cornell, Duke, and Tufts. GPA is within the range of 3.5-4.0. I think you’re either uninformed or just bitter for some reason.

Thank you OGP! Thats what I figured, just wanted to make sure my head was in the right place.
