3.75 GPA all high school, 2.6 GPA 3rd quarter senior year

I've already been admitted/selected which college I'll be going to next year. All through high school I had a 3.75 GPA and took plenty of AP classes, now suddenly 2.6 this quarter. What the what. Okay, specific grades:

AP Math-- D
AP Euro-- B
AP Psych-- B+
AP Eng-- B+
Elective-- B+

Clearly slightly slipping in everything just a little, which is honestly because I'm spending so much time trying to not fail Math. I really can't handle this course, I've been struggling all year and now I'm worried that this class is going to get me rescinded from college. I mean I almost failed this quarter...

What should I do? Should I send the report card to the college now and explain to them that I'm mostly having difficulty with this one class and am trying to get better, and maybe tell them about some more of my achievements since getting into their school? Regardless they require an end of the year report.

I’d do that. They’re going to find out your grades regardless, but I think sending it to them now with an explanation will show you’re actually concerned about the situation and have a reason for doing poorly.

^I agree; sending your report now will show them that you are trying hard and that you want to bring your grades up. From what I can tell, colleges don’t want to see you give up on school senior year, which doesn’t seem like what’s happening here, and I think they’ll be able to tell that if you explain now. I’m pretty sure that as long as they know that you’re trying, you have very little to worry about. And no matter what, being honest and letting them know now is the best decision.

It depends on which college you’ve decided to attend, but you’re probably fine.
