3.75 high enough?

Is a 3.75 too low when applying to UCLA? I go to the number one high school in a CA if that makes a difference..

thanks

If it’s weighted, then yeah.

I got in with a 3.73 unweighted and like 4.3 weighted. But if it’s weighted then that’s too low (especially since UCLA and Berkeley are GPA lovers lol)

What’s the number one high school in California?

It’s unweighted. Thanks for replying guys!

oh and flopsy: I sent you a pm

Yeah, that’s definitely the number one high school in California!

lol. share with us! what school is it? LOLLLLL!

i googled it…it must be either Pacific Collegiate Charter or Oxford in california

3.75 is low, but certainly does not dash your chances completely, depending on your background and personal story.

RE: SaltyBruin12

I don’t think it’s low at all if she took a lot of AP classes. But if she only took a few AP classes then yeah it might be a bit low.

lol, curious aren’t we? The school is Whitney. I will have taken 5 APs when I finish school. This is an approximation since I am a junior.

Oh, I just saw it was unweighted. Still not high, but if your weighted GPA is near 4.0, you aren’t at a huge disadvantage, if any. 92.09% of admits had a weighted GPA of 4.0 or greater this fall, while 29.80% had an unweighted GPA that high, and 55.00% had an unweighted GPA between 3.70 and 3.99.
