Basically, with my background, what are my chances at HYPS and the other Ivies?

The only thing that could hurt you is your GPA, but that always could be explained. Your SATs are in great shape. I think you definitely have a shot, and it’s worth applying to HYPS. Some of the Ivies like Cornell or UPenn might be a little easier for you to get into. You may also want to look at the “public ivies” like UNC or UVA too, because I think you’d have an even better chance there. Good luck!

I see a top 20 liberal arts school in your future. BTW, Don’t forget about all the Claremont, Ca schools. Also its refreshing to see someone who wants to be a writer. GL.

You have an excellent chance at all of them. Do you know if the colleges look into whether you are “registered” as a Native American or not? I don’t know. I do know that Native Americans are the most desired URM, so your chances are great (and, of course, you have great stats notwithstanding). Look into the excellent, highly selective liberal arts colleges too–eg Amherst, Williams, and Swarthmore (the “Little Ivies”) and Carleton College.

yup you have great potential to get into those colleges, especially since you’re a Native American. good luck in tracking down your relative’s info! :)

Summer courses at Harvard and Cornell with As and college credits ? I have looked at these programs and my Nieces and Nephews have taken them and nobody got college credit for them.
Something about this post is not right.
