<p>If your stats turn out as you predict, virtually all the schools in the US News top 100 national universities and top 100 national LACs would be on the table. If you narrow it down to schools in the East with economics and music departments, we’re still probably talking about over 100 schools. Your “match” range (strictly according to stats, not budget or “fit”) would be approximately in the #26-50 range of either list. Most top ~25 (or so) schools would be reaches; anything below 50 (or so) probably is an admissions safety. Many of those schools are in the East, and virtually all of them have both economics and music departments.</p>
