3 classes first semester

My school operates on the block system, so right now I'm only taking three classes (2 are AP and year-round). Next term I'll be taking five, and so overall, I'll have completed six classes at the end of the year. Would Cornell and like colleges take into consideration the fact that since I'm on the block system, taking only three classes one semester is pretty normal even though kids at normal schools are taking six or seven year-round?

Your counselor should submit a school report that explains your school’s academic system, so Cornell will take this into account and you should be fine.

there are plenty of schools who operate on the block scheduling system.
