Is this realistic? I want to take 3 classes and the 3 exam groups are 7,8 ,9, all falling on the same day. is this highly unrecommended?

It's a complete disaster.

I would not recommend it at all. Take at most 2 exams in one day if you can.

If you have 3 exams scheduled for the same day, the university allows you to move ONE of those exams to a different date. However, MAKE SURE YOU ARRANGE IT WITH YOUR PROFESSORS FIRST. Otherwise you'll be screwed.

where do I find out when the final exam dates are?

Use this site for a general idea of final exam times:

UC Berkeley Registrar : Fall 2007 Final Examination Calendar

Use schedule.berkeley.edu to find out what exam group number it is and check with the site above to see when it is.

Some classes do not have final exams and some have them that do not fit the time slots above. When it comes to the end of the semester, on the schedule site, one of the links will be labeled "Search Final Exam Schedule" & from there you can find out the time, location, date, & everything you may need.

Also on your Bearfacts, click on "registration", then click on "final exam schedule" and it'll tell you your exam schedule for all the classes you registered for.
