3 Honors Programs. What now?

I am an out-of-state admitted student. I applied first choice mccombs, second choice liberal arts. I like business but also enjoy the social sciences as well (i.e. history, philosophy, psychology). Since applying near the deadline, I have been admitted to plan ii, liberal arts honors program, and business honors program. I'm inclined to take the bhp offer, but i'm interested in hearing suggestions and testimony for all three. perhaps someone who went through a similar process can comment or anyone who is in one, two, or all three of the programs.

Can’t say much except that I’d definitely go with Plan II or BHP.

You can actually do 2 out of the 3 programs: Plan II and BHP play well together, and don’t really overlap. Several students do both–so you won’t have to choose. You don’t do Plan II or BHP with LAH, unfortunately. Plan II is all about your university core curriculum, and BHP is all about your business core curriculum. If you have questions on how to do both, there’s a BHP recruiter that does Plan II and BHP currently: bhargav.srinivasan@bba08.mccombs.utexas.edu

The BHP / Plan II double major is not that uncommon. That’s what I would do. Both programs are very well-respected, and you don’t really have to choose between business or liberal arts.
