I’m probably willing to float him an extra year if I need to, he’s got in-state tuition and it’s workable. I’ve thought this was the best use of his talents for years, so I’m supportive of the change.
Agree on the ex, in hindsight she caused a lot of problems he is still dealing with. Some I knew about at the time, others I didn’t. Fortunately I think he sees it. I won’t rehash the details here that I posted already elsewhere, but he seems much happier now than he was. And when I last asked what she was up to he said they hadn’t spoke for months so he had no idea. I’m hoping that holds.
