3 months and only 2 tries..any advice?

Hey CC,

I was hoping you could help me out with this issue:

I want to apply to college early (many things behind this) and obviously, for this I need to take the SAT1 and SAT2s.

The problem is, international SATs are not offered as often as US ones, so I only have 3 test dates left for this school year, and maybe 1 next year. I have a school that I want to apply EA to, and I also only want to take one or two SAT2s at a time.

The next test date is in January, so I have ~ 3 months to prepare for it. Unfortunately, it comes right after midterms :( so I don't know how much time I'll have to study.

The SAT2s I want to take are: Math 2 (which might be a problem because I skipped PreCalc and am in AP Calc AB/BC now), Chemistry (I'm self studying the AP) and possible World History (I won't be taking AP World till next year though).

I own the Blue Book and do fairly well on CR and should do well on writing. Math is iffy, since I took Geo in 8th grade, and I have forgotten a bit of it.

Math 2-I heard that sparknotes is often used, so I might try that. Chem-I have many AP Chem textbooks and an AP review book, so I hope that'll suffice.

How would you guys advise I prepare for these tests? I really only have 1 or 2 shots at taking these tests, so I need to do the best I can.

Thanks in advance! :)

You know what you have to do…
The question is…
Why not try?
You have to focus and dedicate yourself for the next few months to study.
Your math foundation is shaky so dedicate yourself to buffing up your math.
good luck.

Do you think that 3 months prep is sufficient? I know some people have prepped since 8th grade. O_o
