I got 3's on AP lang and AP micro. I also got a 4 on stats. Should I self report these?

Yea i just got 3’s on Chem and Psych(I have no clue how i did so poorly on Psych) but I have 4’s on 4 other AP’s. I have the same question.

A 3 is not seen as very good by Duke standards (and Duke won’t give you credit), but I have no idea how they factor AP Scores into admissions decisions. I probably wouldn’t report them as I can’t see how they’d help your application. The best it can be is really neutral…Although maybe they’d find it odd if you took an AP class without taking the test. So, yeah, I’m not really sure, but I probably wouldn’t report it unless it’s something Duke would give you credit for. Consult with the AP credit table on the Duke site to see the scores Duke accepts. I think they may take a 3 on Calc BC (giving you Calc I credit only) and that’s about it.

I had a 3, and I reported it. If it’s a course that most people take to get AP credit for, such as Chem or Physics, I would report it. If it’s something that’s considered notoriously difficult, such as a language, then maybe don’t report it. I think they care more about your grade in the class regardless.

I hear if you took the course they’ll look for the score. They might think you got a 2 so didn’t report!

Yea i would think if i dont report it then theyll prob think i got a 2 or something
