when filling up the course history on the application, do I put unit as 3 or 0 on the class that I dropped? Well, shall I ask like this ..that if the class was withdrawn by me, so for the 3 units class I received W, do I input unit 3 or 0 on the application for this class?

thanks

Berkeley adviser told me to put zeros for dropped courses. But all of the articulated courses in the drop down already come with the units, so you would need to manually input that course number, name, zero for units and WI for grade.

Yes, it seems so. If I select WI, the units shows up automatically as 3.

But are you sure we will have to do it manually? Because it says that do a good search before adding any class manually, which means if the class is there then we should not input it manually. This is kind of a confusion.

But will the unit number make any difference when GPA is automatically calculated? I mean if it does not affect our GPA, then inputting unit as 0 or 3 would not matter at all, or would it?

I believe many people experience the same thing, anymore inputs?

Thanks!

The class will show up because it is already articulated by the UCs as being transferable. The flaw with this new app is that it automatically incudes the units. So, since it already shows you the class then you can copy exactly what it says and input it manually with the units.

Because of this new app, everything is more automated in terms of calculations. It may not matter anymore, but this has been the general norm and its been confirmed by UC reps.

Thanks a lot Yoshi. :)) you have been very helpful
